Has anyone tried and managed to convert a message into a Reminder that
shows up in Reminders? (using an applescript a I assume...)

Best regards,

I assume this would be similar to the current OmniFocus command
(experimental feature). I might have time to help you with that (and
include it in MailMate by default), but it's not going to be before next
week.

This happened to me before, but it was because I was editing the plist
files in the Application itself (thus it would overwrite on upgrade),
but the manual says you should save the custom keybinding plist files in
your user's directory structure, which is at:

~/Library/Application Support/MailMate/Resources/KeyBindings/

Gustavo already gave the correct answer. I hope you had a backup.

I can see that I could be more specific in the manual and clearly state
that files in the application bundle should not be edited.

[MlMt] Ical

2013-10-17 Thread Olivier Bedouelle

Hi,

I want to integrate with Mailmate Ical.app.

In theMailMate Help there are:

mv /Applications/iCal.app/Contents/Resources/Scripts/Mail.scpt
/Applications/iCal.app/Contents/Resources/Scripts/MailBackup.scpt
ln -s
/Applications/MailMate.app/Contents/SharedSupport/Other/iCal/Mail.scpt
/Applications/iCal.app/Contents/Resources/Scripts/

In french, the name of ICAL is Calendar.app
And in the Contents/Resources/Scripts/ I don't have a MailBackup.scrip

Have you a solution ?

nb: The integration with Omnifocus is very good.

Cordialement

Sorry, this has not worked since OS X Lion (as mentioned in the note
below the instructions in the manual). Apple changed how it works and
I don't know if there is any way to make it work again.

Thanks.

Sorry, I did not understand this question?

Maybe you should just describe what you want to do with iCal?

[MlMt] copyToMailbox: usage question

2013-10-17 Thread Ralph Alvy
I notice that, unlike moveToMailbox, copyToMailbox doesn't produce a
list box UI. In fact, it seems to do nothing at all when invoked. Does
it require a mailbox argument, unlike moveToMailbox?

Yes, you can only copy with the GUI if you hold down ⌥ when
selecting the destination mailbox (with the Move to Mailbox GUI).

Ok, this is because iCal explicitly opens Mail.app. As far as I know
there is no workaround for this (on 10.8+), but I might be wrong.
