[MlMt] icloud problem resolved!
OMG! It's finally working. For future users: After I got the right settings from Apple: https://www.apple.com/support/macosx/mailassistant/ it still wasn't working. I decided to try creating a new email account. That did it. Thanks Annamarie ___ mailmate mailing list mailmate@lists.freron.com http://lists.freron.com/listinfo/mailmate
[MlMt] Select Duplicates
Is this functionality broken? When I select it in a mailbox with known duplicates, it seems to select nothing. How is it determining duplicates? I assume Message-ID, but if it's trying to build some kind of tuple of (from,to,subject, date) i could see why that wouldn't work. I have a lot of messages where I'm receiving copies through multiple mailing lists and I'm not able to de-duplicate on the server-side. ___ mailmate mailing list mailmate@lists.freron.com http://lists.freron.com/listinfo/mailmate
Re: [MlMt] icloud problem
No love. I've talked to Apple. Found out about this link: https://www.apple.com/support/macosx/mailassistant/ Followed their procedures. Something is better but I'm still not connected. Thought to delete the account and start over but can't figure out how to do that. How? Re: [MlMt] icloud problem
It was here, at the beginning of December. The thread was "MailMate does not import iCloud Account." Removing the domain solved the problem for me, too. I know that the list of tags in the activity monitor is not the complete list available (that I've added to the properties) or that are currently working. Here are the responses for the primary account (filtered the viewer output, these are for each of the sub accounts/folders) S: * OK [PERMANENTFLAGS (\Answered \Flagged \Draft \Deleted \Seen $Junk \*)] This looks fine. It says that custom flags are possible (`\*`) and `$Junk` is an example of such a flag. Some of the other mailboxes had other examples of custom flags. In particular, this one: S: * OK [PERMANENTFLAGS (\Answered \Flagged \Draft \Deleted \Seen $Junk $NotJunk Harmonization IHTSDO ReviewToday \*)] Unlimited So these responses do not list all the tags, even those I see in messages. Maybe server support for IMAP keywords/flags is still limited somehow. Is there a place I can see the tags in the raw source? I can't seem to find them. No, tags (keywords/flags) are not part of the messages themselves. It's metadata taken care of by the IMAP server. It may be best to experiment with the server by connecting to it directly: telnet imap.1and1.co.uk 143 But it requires being able to speak in IMAP commands :-) I can see they do provide trial accounts, but I probably won't have time for that soon. You could also try a different IMAP provider and see if you have issues with that as well. This would indicate whether MailMate or 1and1 is to blame. -- Benny ___ mailmate mailing list mailmate@lists.freron.com http://lists.freron.com/listinfo/mailmate
