You mean this:

I have myself SpamSieve installed on two macs acting against the same

I do the "mark as junk" and "move out of junk" and walks through the

I use option #2 of
http://c-command.com/spamsieve/manual#spamsieve-and-multiple -- running
it on two Macs means that the two won't have the same training data, so
they'll behave inconsistently (at least as I understand it). It also
lets me reclassify mail from my iPhone and iPad.

Re: [MlMt] "Junk State = Junk" & "Move to Junk" with one keystroke?

2016-01-17 Thread Vlad Ghitulescu

It works only for the mailbox I was in in the moment I close MailMate.
Example: If I'm in Inbox and I'm closing MailMate, after restarting
MailMate it only works when I'm in or switching to Inbox, but not in
Sent, Drafts, Deleted or Junk. Correspondently, if I'm in Sent when I'm
closing MailMate, after restarting the focus works only in Sent but in
no other mailbox.

If you make any changes to the KeyBindings you need to restart

[MlMt] *Last of Thread* not quite the inverse of *Root of Thread*

2016-01-17 Thread Vlad Ghitulescu

Hello!

I’ve generated *a few* :-) discussion-threads with my questions about
using MailMate, so I was using extensively the *Last of Thread*- and
*Root of Thread*-commands in order to navigate up and down through the
emails.

I observed that *Last of Thread* jumps on the last email in the thread
**by staying in the email-list**, while *Root of Thread* (that I press
in order to jump back to the first email in the thread) brings me to the
original thread-email **but isolate that thread** (and so jumps out of
the email list). Returning to the list implies clicking on the - button
on the upper right.

Why the difference?
Or is it another way to return to the first email in a thread whitout
leaving the email-list-view?

Thanks!

Vlad

That means that commands like moveToMailbox, markAsJunk etc. will work

the focus is put on this email).

Second question: If this is the whish-behaviour and not a bug, for which

.plist but I have revised it extensively.

I also have a few KeyboardMaestro shortcuts that I use with MailMate
for multistep tasks (maybe this can be done in MailMate).

[MlMt] Junk / not junk

2016-01-17 Thread Patrik Fältström
Hi,

I am running MailMate with SpamSieve, and of course there are a number of
actions on junk that I would like to have clarified.

When manually acting on junk/not junk I do:

- When looking at junk NOT in the junk folder

"Junk State" -> "Junk"
"Delete"

- When looking at junk in the junk folder

"Junk State" -> "Junk"
"Delete"

- When looking at not junk in the junk folder

"Junk State" -> "Not Junk"
"Move out of Junk"

When looking at the selectors I see "markAsJunk:".

Is that the same as "Junk State" -> "Junk"?

Is the menu item "Move to Junk" doing both "Junk State" -> "Junk" and move of
the message?

Hmm...

   Patrik
