Re: [MlMt] apply rules greyed out ?

This is correct. Currently, the only way to trigger rules based on time
is to make a smart mailbox with the date condition and then add a rule
with no conditions. A caveat is that this won't work for emails matching
the condition at a time where MailMate is not open (it's ok with the
machine sleeping).

I got an email with a photo included. When I tried to forward it, the

If you can share the email with me then use “Help ▸ Send Feedback”
and drag the photo email into the email to attach it. Then I can try to
reproduce the issue.

Re: [MlMt] mailmate on the dock

I just upgraded from build 6047 to 6048 and MM did a strange thing --
it left the old icon on the dock and added a new icon. Only the new
icon had counts (see attachment). I removed the old icon manually, but
apparently the second icon was only a temp thingy as it went away from
the dock after I quit MM.

Anyone else noticed that?

I've seen this myself on very rare occasions. I'm not really sure what
triggers it and it's tricky to debug. (I'm not even sure it's a MailMate
only issue.)

Re: [MlMt] tracking unsorted emails and spinning pizza cursor

I thus created a smart box that is using "none" of any of the smart

However, since I set this mailbox, I started getting spinning pizza
regularly when I switch between mailboxes. It spins for like 10-15
secs then goes away. Of course, this is notacceptable considering that
I constantly switch mailboxes.

I suspect that having a smart mailbox depending on the content of a
set of large smart mailboxes is causing that.

Sounds likely.

Anybody has seen that? Anybody has any idea how to implement this
better?

You can make a sample when it hangs like this:

sample MailMate 5 -f ~/Desktop/sample_mailmate.txt

Then send me the resulting file. You can also send me your mailbox setup
by sending me this file:

~/Library/Application Support/MailMate/Mailboxes.plist

I can then look into why it's slow and see if there is an easy fix.

The 2.0 beta version respects system proxy settings. I've been using that
successfully with ssh -D.

A quick search of the mailing list archive should turn up a link.
