That's neat. It gives a numbered drop down menu, so for example

   Alt+C 1

copies the link: Here's the one for your message on my system:

message://%3c533bdcd5-f3e4-4b5b-adfd-4e80e1253...@gmail.com%3e

I find that I can just drag the message from the message list pane to 
get this URL.
