If the email is scheduled to be sent then it shouldn't make a difference
that it is archived. It should only make a difference if you move it to
“Deleted Messages” or “Junk” (because they are not part of
“All Messages” which is where MailMate looks for messages to be
sent).

In other words, are you sure it's not sent?

Yes, this file: `/Users//Library/Application
Support/MailMate`. Look for the `rules` keyword.

Hello Benny,

This works like a charm ( finally understood the “From >> > Identity
exists” expression )

But I think that by working on this issue I came across a more
interesting one, which I’ll try to describe in the following scenario:

- Mail comes in
- User replies & sends ( sending delayed with 5 min )
- User collapses mail thread
- User archives collapsed thread

Result: the draft being waiting to be send will be archived and not sent
. . .

Cheers,

Marc

Anybody any idea ?

Hmm, I don't see any nice solution to this problem. A workaround is to
add a rule to your Archive mailbox which, e.g., based on “From >>
Identity exists” could move some of the emails back into “Sent
Messages”. (In practice, they would never be moved.)

[MlMt] mail,box rules?

2018-09-08 Thread Tracy Valleau

Hello

Long ago and far away, I added a rule (to the inbox, I thought) that
moved an incoming email from a particular person to a particular
mailbox. (For some reason, ONLY that one person was ALWAYS recognized as
spam, so this worked around it.)

I probably have 80 mailboxes, and I have painstakingly control-clicked
on every one of them, looking for that rule. I cannot find it.

So now I'm wondering if there is some XML for other plain-english
location in (say) application support/mailmate (or somewhere) that holds
all the rules. Perhaps if I can find that (Iand it exists, of course) I
can find and delete my old, unwanted, invisible, rule, and quit
filtering his stuff.

Any suggestions?
