You could try Message (menu) > Forward as Attachment. Might work better
depending on what you need it to do.

Is there any way I can adjust the settings so that when I forward a
message, it will forward the message without those symbols?

Thanks in advance for your help with this.

[MlMt] Copy or drag 'n drop an attachment from one Compose window to another Compose window?

2020-01-26 Thread leo

Hi there

How can I copy or drag 'n drop an attachment from one Compose window to
another Compose window?

To be clear: I have the attachment to copy *not* in a window of a sent
email , but in a window composing a new email. (A Compose window is what
you get when you use MailMate’s share extension from another
application.)

Thanks,

[MlMt] Smart Mailbox for all emails with a size greater than x?

2020-01-26 Thread leo

Hi all,

_I asked this before, but I didn’t see any reply, so maybe the mail
didn’t get through. So here you go again:_

How can I create a Smart Mailbox for all emails with size > x? (In my
particular case is x = 50 MB)

I tried the `Size*` header, but it does not offer a numerical operator
when added as condition…

Then I tried the `Size*` header `Formatted` but still I found only
string comparison. So I was able to get a condition for all emails > 1MB
(by testing for string contains `MiB`) but not for > 50 MB.

Thanks for any pointers!

You can decrease the indentation level through the format menu in the
forwarded msg or you can use edit as new msg from the message menu to
create a new message (instead of using forward). Each has pluses and
minuses depending on what you really what to achieve.
