[MlMt] Keystrokes not going to the front window
Dear Benny et al., I regularly find that when I am editing a message, keystrokes are directed to a viewer window in the background rather than the message window that currently has focus. Clicking on the message window again to ensure that it has focus, has no effect. Closing the viewer window in question and opening a new viewer solves the problem. Has anyone else seen this behaviour? Have some suggestions? Re: [MlMt] default account hidden preference sometimes ignored
Thanks for the quick reply. When you enter a recipient then MailMate is still going to look for messages sent to the same recipient to find the most likely From address. This cannot currently be disabled. The problem is for first-time recipients. The from address shows account1. For some reason that I can't figure it out, MailMate often picks that account and if I don't notice it then that person ends up with the wrong email address (which they then add to their address book!) etc. Basically I never want account1 to be used unless MailMate has some positive information that I want to use that account (i.e. that I've sent with that account to that person before _or_ that I actively chose the account). [MlMt] autocomplete in 10.9 vs 10.6 - no longer prefers words already in email body
Hello, I have just changed to a new laptop running 10.9.2 from one running 10.6.8. I did not import settings as I had done on my previous few upgrades. I notice a mildly annoying change in the behaviour of the autocomplete. When I press Esc it no longer prefers words that are already in the text of the email. For example I was previously using this to autocomplete long names. Can this behaviour be adjusted or is it an OS-dependent change? Many thanks, Greg. [MlMt] Really making default email account stick
I have a common inbox for two email accounts (work and gmail). I happened to set the gmail account up first even though I use the work account for 95% of my email. Now in some situations where mailmate has limited information about my intentions it uses my gmail account. An example is when I click on a mailto link in an email sent to my work address. I have actually set defaults write com.freron.MailMate MmDefaultAccount -string 'imap://usern...@imap.example.com' to my work account without any obvious effect. Would anyone have any ideas for how to ensure that my default send account is the one that I prefer?
