I forgot to mention a caveat! *If* the user has enabled the “Custom Location” feature in the General preferences pane then it has to be disabled before copying the folder. This is because this setting moves the “Messages” folder into a different location (to allow it be indexed by Spotlight) and then it's not copied. I *think* this is your problem. In other words, you cannot move an email from an IMAP account to some local-only mailbox within MailMate. If you don't need the emails in a mailbox within MailMate then you can still copy the emails to local disk folders and then delete them in MailMate. Benny, I’m confused. I thought that MM didn’t have local copies of the messages. I’ve asked for a feature to download messages from the server for local storage but was told it’s not possible. Please clarify for me. Finally, if you want to refetch emails from the server(s) then you can just copy these files and folders (the ones that exist): /Users//Library/Application Support/MailMate/*.plist /Users//Library/Application Support/MailMate/Bundles /Users//Library/Application Support/MailMate/Resources Most users only have the `.plist` files. Using this approach you still need to re-subscribe to bundles in the Bundles preferences pane.
