I don't think I knew about this Scripts folder. I'm writing on an old
laptop with OS X 10.7 which means I cannot look into it right now, but
I'll note that I should check this out when possible. Thanks!

Bad news today ... I'll buy a license over this day ... I will decide
... other employees who are on mail.app

Have you looked for ICAL?

Ok, this is because iCal explicitly opens Mail.app. As far as I know
there is no workaround for this (on 10.8+), but I might be wrong.

I only did a quick search, but I didn't find anything. Maybe someone can
answer: Does any other email client work with Calendar (10.8+), that is,
can you create an email from within Calendar opening some other email
client than Apple Mail?

Maybe Olivier can clearly define the steps he's taking in order to
try and reproduce the problem.

The problem is related to the iCal tip provided here:
http://manual.mailmate-app.com/extended_url_scheme#ical

It allows the user to send emails using MailMate to “participants”
after, e.g., updating the time of an event in iCal/Calendar.

The tip doesn't work on 10.8+ and when I looked into it (a long time
ago) I did not find an alternative solution.

[MlMt] Ical

2013-10-17 Thread Olivier Bedouelle

Hi,

I want to integrate with Mailmate Ical.app.

In theMailMate Help there are:

mv /Applications/iCal.app/Contents/Resources/Scripts/Mail.scpt
/Applications/iCal.app/Contents/Resources/Scripts/MailBackup.scpt
ln -s
/Applications/MailMate.app/Contents/SharedSupport/Other/iCal/Mail.scpt
/Applications/iCal.app/Contents/Resources/Scripts/

In french, the name of ICAL is Calendar.app
And in the Contents/Resources/Scripts/ I don't have a MailBackup.scrip

Have you a solution ?

nb: The integration with Omnifocus is very good.

Sorry, this has not worked since OS X Lion (as mentioned in the note
below the instructions in the manual). Apple changed how it works and
I don't know if there is any way to make it work again.
