Re: [MlMt] Keyboard slow after upgrade to Mojave
I have no problems with that in plain text mode, which is what I normally use. MD Preview? Per a previous note of mine, it always hangs these days when I turn on Preview, but yes, before that started it was very slow. It wasn't a hassle for me, though, since I only used it to check formatting, not for actually typing much. On 26 Nov 2020, at 6:46, Robert M. It doesn't happen at all for some users and for others the delay can be measured in seconds. I haven't found the exact trigger to explain this difference, but optimizations are needed anyways (MailMate should do less to update the preview). (In your case, Spotlight might be busy re-indexing after the upgrade and this could affect the execution time of the external scripts.) The latest test release of MailMate does most of its preview-related work asynchronously and I'm also planning some changes to how MailMate handles Markdown which should help.
