The email addresses are taken from your “Sent Messages” mailbox (and
from Contacts). You can move messages with invalid email addresses
elsewhere or you can change which mailbox MailMate uses for completing
email addresses:

	defaults write com.freron.MailMate MmAddressCompletionMailbox -string
8F9C1062-E4F8-4949-B5DC-BAB7CDEC4110

The value provided should be the UUID of a mailbox (obtained using
“Edit ▸ Copy” after selecting a mailbox). Using a dummy value
(like above) disables completion based on sent messages.

I'm now back from vacation in my usual non-joking mood. And I really did
note that request. And I just looked into it and since it looked like a
5-minute fix then I fixed it (in 15 minutes though). If I didn't mess up
then Kee's mother is soon going to get an email ;-)

Speaking of contact addresses, Mail lets you send to a nickname in the address
book. I miss this for the one nickname in my address book, which would be
pretty minor, except that it's my mother. :)

I just add it here because I stumbled upon the topic myself in the
last days: It would be nice if MailMate would reduce the list to one
entry per address. I have some addresses coming up twice or even
thrice because the associated names don't match.
For example*, someone mailed me and cc'ed John j...@example.com. I
replied to all, so MailMate uses that name now.
Then I add the person to my contacts and name him John Doe, because
that's his real name. Typing jo now shows two proposals:

John j...@example.com
John Doe j...@example.com

I can see no reason why my contact shouldn't always win and the other
addresses can be safely ignored.

Hi Benny,

I have a problem with with email addresses. Are there a way to remove
the to list that offers me MailMate when entering a new email?

Cordially
