Well, I don't know for IMAP (as I run mutt on my mail server and thus read
mail from local folders), but when I go to the folder selection screen ("y"
key), mutt displays the letter "N" next to all folders that have new
messages in. I don't know if that's what you have in mind, but that's
sufficient for me.

I have my mail presorted into IMAP folders (with procmail of course)
and could never figure out how to make mutt scan them for new mail
like Alpine does automatically.

[mailop] Question from our Spam Auditors.. X-HM-Spam flag, any value?

2019-12-11 Thread Michael Peddemors via mailop

Anyone know if there is any value in the X-HM-Spam-Status values?
It isn't a base64 string, so it must be a proprietary string, but
wondering if it actually has any value for receivers, to see if 163.com
has already flagged the outgoing message as likely spam..

Back in the old days, elm always looked more convenient and friendly to me
than pine. So I'm now on mutt, as successor of elm, and not on alpine :)
