Re: [mapguide-users] Duplicate Labels using TileSetdefinition.

2019-03-27 Thread maherich
Hmm.
It looks like the extent offset change the result much.
Anyway, thanks for prompt answer. I give my try to point feature labels.
It's a pity as the "untiled" map looks pretty good. May be if more tiles are
produced from a bigger mapview at once, we could at least reduce the
duplicated labels.

[mapguide-users] Duplicate Labels using TileSetdefinition.

2019-03-27 Thread maherich
Hi,
we have got a layer with lines and automaticaly placed labels for these
lines.
When publishing map using Tilesetdefinition, we get our labels for each
tile, which has a consequence that there are more then one label per line on
the map.

The map published as MapDefinition without tiling is rendered and displayed
correctly.

I think its because each tile is rendered separately a therefore the label
is generated in each tile. Is there any way to change the way tiles are
being generated?
Now the only way how can I achieve the right rendering for tiles is
converting the labels to a point feature class.

Hi,
we have one layer with polylines. We have setup simple labels. These are
overlaping if load the layer using
/mapagent.fcgi?OPERATION=GETTILEIMAGE&VERSION=1.2.0&CLIENTAGENT=Leaflet&USERNAME=Anonymous&MAPDEFINITION=Library://xxx.TileSetDefinition&BASEMAPLAYERGROUPNAME=Base
Layer Group&TILECOL=171845&TILEROW=281178&SCALEINDEX=19/

Is the control of overlaping for tiled layers switched off?

[mapguide-users] AIMS 2015 - forms size disrupted.

2018-03-05 Thread maherich
Hi,
have anyone of you already met with following issue?
I open a form in AIMS 2015 (Chrome or Firefox). The new window with form
opens. Everything is looking correct. I make a filter and go back to the
form. The form window is reduced. It is very annoying as the resize of the
window doesn't help and I can't see all the fields and buttons.
Have you got similar experience? Did anyone of you found some solution to
it?
Thanks,
Martin

Re: [mapguide-users] Problems with base layers.

2016-12-22 Thread maherich
Hi,
We didn't dig very deep into it as we didn't have so much time. What we did is
that we created two maps:
1. One for public where we put all the layers into one Basemap that is
not transparent. So even though the previous maps are loaded after switching
the map they are displayed under the map that is selected :). Of course this is
only a hack and not a solution. And we transfer lot more data as needed.
2. Second map for authorities. In this map we use no Base Layers anymore.
It is not so fast, but there is no problem with switching of maps.
Thank you for your input. If you find any solution, we will very appreciate it.

Hi Martin,

Same here with AIMS 2014. I noticed that when I switched the map by using Map
Fusion.Widget.MapMenu, somehow the Fusion was still trying to load every maps
that I switched to as basemaps, and also the Base Layers from previous maps.

I switched to three different maps, and Fusion request the single tiles of
every map that I switched to all the time.

[Header]
[Cookies - PHPSESSID]
[Property Map - Initial Map of Fusion]
[Utility Map - One of the maps of Fusion]
[Recreation Map - One of the maps of Fusion]

I will keep digging for solutions, but hope others may find the solutions for
this problem too.

Cheers

Hi any solution to this? Specially point 2?
It looks like the Fusion has a couple of problems that prevent us from using
it in this scenario?
What other clients would you suggest?
