MI Layers Order
MI uses the Z-Order, which tells MI to place layers in this order: 1. text,2. lines, 3. polygons. I don't know if it can be changed, but I suppose thatwith a MapBasic application is possible. Remember that when you save aWorkspace the order that you saved is respected by Z-Order.Jose Jose Ramon Martinez BatlleCorreos-e:[EMAIL PROTECTED] o [EMAIL PROTECTED]
MI Order
Yes. Now Brian Forrester is having troubles with something that I once had. Yuo cannot in MI put filled regions and text in a same layer, if you want to make them all appearing in a layout. MI doesn't have a ordering method to organize objects in a layer. The most recent object placed in a layer will be the one over the rest. Have this in mind. To solve that problem, place all regions in one layer and send it always to back in the layer control. Similar, create layer with all the text and place it in front the rest in the layer control. Save it in a workspace and yuo'll never have problems. NEVER PUT TEXT OR LINES WITHIN A SAME LAYER WITH REGIONS, unless all regions will be filled.
