MI Icon Tool?
Hello List, i am in search of a tool, or a dll, (c,vb, or mapbasic) which contains routines to automatically generate icon-dlls for Buttons out of Text-Strings with 4 letters. Example: i want to create a button icon from the text "FAQ". Anybody knows if such a tool exists? Rajeev, open Map Basbic Window and enter set window info hide set window info show than you can continue work, its a bug i think. MI Mi: Large Access tables
Hello List, I have a problem in registering large access databases. I want to register access tables as a mapinfo table which have more than 40 rows, and always end up in the message (translated from german): Microsoft Acess error. Not enough memory. Unable to register table xyz.tab The task manager does not show any usage of memory during this command, i am working with a pII, 266 128MB Memory plus 128 paging, disk is not full (ca. 1gb free) Smaller tables up to 10 rows work. I tried Mapinfo 4.5 4.5.2 5.0 and 5.5 Is this a known problem? MI MB: How to get rid of temp column
Hello list, i have a simple mapbasic problem, but found no answer in the docs. I create a dynamic, temporary column with this command Add Column Cells (Col_Name Integer) From Tab_Name Set To Col_Name Where COL1 = COL1 Dynamic The use the column for a thematic mapping. At the end i want to delete the column with an alter table command Alter Table Cells (Drop Col_Name) But i get the error message that the table does not hav a column Col_Name (which is true, looking at the table structure) My Question: How do i delete the temporary, dynamic column WITHOUT closing and reopening the table ?
