The board had an opportunity to discuss next year's GUADEC dates at the
meeting this week. 

  

The consensus was that adding an extra day is a sensible incremental
step to take toward an expanded schedule, details to be worked out by
the planning committee with IGC.

Saturday, 27 May

Opening: Sunday, 28 May
Closing: Wednesday, 31 May

How about removing the text in the heart, and just have it say "Give
GNOME some love today/tonight" ? Simplicity is king you know :-)

and "when was the last time you gave GNOME some love?" to "Give GNOME 
some love today" or something affirming.

That would suit me fine, it's just that I cannot promise you
that there will be many users then, as Wednesday is our "Girls Day"
and unfortunately we've got a lot less female users than male ones.

Unfortunately much too little. It's often far too easy to talk to people
in English, especially when many asylum seekers speak English as a first
or second language, but almost no German. BTW concerning the user
interface localisation, better support for Arabic in Gnome would
probably be the most important thing for our current users, even
though Gnome has come a long way since we started (with Gnome 1.x
IIRC, Arabic and Cyrillic was basically unusable then).

Free press coverage for Gnome in Norway

promotes free-software to its many customers. We are currently working
on a software database containing all the software we recommend.

We will send out a press release soon promoting this database, and we are
also working on a summer campaign, which means we are sending out a Ubuntu
live cd to the *top 500 companies in Norway*. This live CD contains amongst 
other
things a link to this database.

We can not find all the information we need *to be able to promote
Gnome the way we feel it deserves*. It would be of great help to us, if
