No, now that attachments work again (they didn't for some reason a while). MarketingMaterials is probably an appropriate place. (Obviously it isn't appropriate for things like graphics The wiki should be OK for things like graphics as long as we don't start going overboard (*cough* GIMP splash contest *cough*). Is the wiki inappropriate for this for some reason? (Obviously it isn't appropriate for things like graphics, but ATM basically all our web presence is in the wiki and not www.gnome.org.) I'm a big Gnome fan and would like to help out as much as I can - however, time/resources will probably keep that to a pretty limited role. Re: upcoming conferences and liveCDs
I am. But I've decided to give out livecds from the booth instead. It would be niec to start off with maybe 500 Live CDs and then if we want more I can go and buy some more and press them. sri On Fri, Jul 15, 2005 at 11:50:48AM -0400, Tim Ney wrote: > Hello Sri, > > Are you still planning to give out LiveCDs at OSCON? > > tim > > > On Mon, 2005-05-02 at 11:50 -0700, Sriram Ramkrishna wrote: > > Apparently, OSCON is having some presence. Re: Commercial support
I would love to see this list. It might make a great basis for pamphlets/brochures to give out at conferences since businesses/govt will be thinking about it. Better yet, if you're able to find the one thats local to the city you're in, thats even better. sri On Mon, Jul 18, 2005 at 12:41:58PM -0400, Luis Villa wrote: > On 7/18/05, Claus Schwarm <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > > On Mon, 18 Jul 2005 10:56:02 -0400 > > Luis Villa <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > > > > > > > > Ah. i was thinking that was more for consultants (folks like > > > http://www.openadvantage.org/) than for distros. Particulaly if our CD won't have an attractive cardboard case, like the Ubuntu CDs. I guess that 2000 CDs would cost approx 2500 or 3000 dollars, just with paper covers. If we don't do bag inserts for the GNOME LiveCD then you should definitely contact Ubuntu (mako) soon, who can maybe get some Ubuntu LiveCDs shipped there quickly. -- Murray Cumming [EMAIL PROTECTED] www.murrayc.com www.openismus.com -- marketing-list mailing list marketing-list@gnome.org http://mail.gnome.org/mailman/listinfo/marketing-list
