Rodrigo,

We just had a marketing hackfest last week. Our roadmap for what we
hope to accomplish is here:

http://live.gnome.org/ThreePointZero/MarketingRoadmap

I will talk to the local community to create a local action plan based
on that RoadMap.

The wiki has a ton of information as well and if you're looking for
something specific that you don't see, please ask:

Thanks Paul, I'm reading all information now!

FUDCon - Gnome in Latam

2010-05-11 Thread Rodrigo Padula

Guys, we (Fedora Latam) are organizing the FUDCon Latam 2010 ( Fedora
Users and Developers Conference ) that will be held in Santiago - Chile
July 15-17.

I would like to invite you to join us there!

We are using the wiki
https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/FUDCon:Santiago_2010 as planning page.

I know that we have important contributors there, so, what do you think
about ?

I think it can help both communities to increase the local contributions
because we are inviting all local Universities to join us.

Beste regards!

Hi Davyd
I found this little typo: "independant" instead of "independent" at the
very beginning of "What's New For Developers" section.

Great job!

English would be good for me, would it be for the people attending the

So, if you think I can do it, I'd be happy to go, if not, let me know
and I'll find someone from Galicia.

I think people from Galicia (whose language is almost the same as
Portuguese) could be a good one. If not, because of proximity, maybe
someone from Extremadura, or, if all that fails, I'd be happy to attend
myself, if the language is not a problem (I don't speak Portuguese nor
Galician at all :(

So, who do you prefer?

prensa@ (= press) and gabinete-prensa@ (press department) were alias
some time ago, but we don't even use them, since the persons who were
the press contacts don't do it anymore. junta-gh@ is the board of the
GNOME Hispano association, so is probably the best contact. Also, you
might want to include [EMAIL PROTECTED] also, which is the contact for
the GNOME Chile association.

we don't really have a press contact, we just have the board, which we
are trying to get responsible of the press stuff until we have someone
that does it.
