My good friend and comrade Ernie Tate was a leader of the British Vietnam antiwar movement who was the victim of a Healyite goon squad. This attack combined with the smearing of Joe Hansen and George Novack a few years later demonstrated the depths to which this sect had descended. Not long afterwards, Healy was expelled for Harvey Weinstein type attacks on female party members. One of the dregs of this movement continues as the Socialist Equality Party in the USA, a diehard supporter of Bashar al-Assad.
