Between 1965 and 1975, 58,000 GI's died in Vietnam. That loss of life due to a ruling class imperialist war created a massive loss of confidence in political institutions. Just imagine the impact when families lose twice this number of members in such a short time-span and begin to realize that Trump had a lot to do with the government's failure to be adequately prepared.
