Thanks to now having bargaining power it's a better place than ever to work 
according to fellow worker Owen Hill.

Citing 'many incidents' of 'poor safety,' Berkeley institution Moe's Books 
unionizes


According to a press release issued by the union workers, there was "almost 
unanimous support" for organizing and joining the Industrial Workers of the 
World. On March 9, they say their union, Moe's Books Workers, was recognized by 
Doris Moskowitz, the store's owner.
