[Matplotlib-users] APLpy 0.9.4 Release

We are pleased to announce the release of APLpy 0.9.4, which includes
bug fixes, improvements, and new features.

APLpy is a python module that makes it easy to interactively produce
publication-quality plots of astronomical images in FITS format. More
details are available at http://aplpy.sourceforge.net/

The main change with this release is that APLpy now requires
matplotlib 0.99. More information on the changes in this version is
available in the release notes available from the APLpy homepage.

We are pleased to announce the release of APLpy 0.9.3, which includes
bug fixes, improvements, and new features.

APLpy is a python module that makes it easy to interactively produce
publication-quality plots of astronomical images in FITS format. More

One of the main additions in this release is the ability to produce RGB
images starting from FITS files with different projections. More
information on the changes in this release is available in the release
notes available from the APLpy homepage.

This release contains a significant improvement to the initial loading
time of the FITSFigure instances, fixes compatibility issues with the
latest version of matplotlib, and fixes an issue that occured with images
projected in Plate Carrée (-CAR).

About APLpy

APLpy (pronounced 'apple pie') can be used to:

 * Interactively or non-interactively produce publication-quality plots;
 * Show grayscale, colorscale, and 3-color RGB images;
 * Overlay any number of contour and marker sets;
 * Dynamically hide, show, and remove contour and marker layers;
 * Overlay coordinate grids;
 * Customize the appearance of labels and ticks;
 * Use LaTeX to typeset labels;
 * Pan, zoom, and save any view as a full publication-quality plot;
 * Save plots as EPS, PS, PDF, SVG, or PNG files;

Noting that APLpy is still in beta development, you may encounter bugs and/or
