anyway, i call bullshit on debian's decision. mcedit is built into mc, and it's an integral part of the mc experience. while mc offers an "escape route" (which it totally wouldn't have to, btw, and then what, debian?), it's absolutely obvious that it should prefer its own solution by default. the chosen interpretation of the policy would also imply that the libreoffice shell must start calligra words just because it's the preferred word processor in the desktop's mime type associations. _______________________________________________ mc-devel mailing list https://mail.gnome.org/mailman/listinfo/mc-devel
