Please go through the below job description and let me know of your interest so that we can proceed further. *Title: **C++ Application Architect* *Location: Salt Lake, Utah* *Duration: 6+ Months contract With Possible Extensions* *Type:** Contract* *Interview Type:** Phone, Skype or F2F* *MUST HAVE:* · Programming experience on C++ ATL COM development · Design and Development Experience on COM, ActiveX · Team work and ability to work with Onsite-Offshore model * Responsibilities:* · Design and enhance an ATL COM application to work with multiple client/server interfaces by following the client processes, guidance and best practices · Work with client team representatives and gather requirements. Create QAs, get clarifications and sign-offs · Effort Estimate and project planning for the COM development work · Guide the offshore team to get the new enhancements to the COM Application · Build an ActiveX bridge application to work with COM and Web interfaces · Project milestone tracking and provide daily/weekly and ad-hoc status updates to stakeholders · Do Unit testing ,QA testing, defect tracking, Bug fixing · Conduct code reviews to verify the coding standards, best practices and provide feedback to the offshore team · Manage, Monitor, guide other team members (onsite and offshore) *Required Skills:* · 6+ years of programming experience on C++ ATL COM development · Design and Development Experience on COM, ActiveX, JavaScript · Experience on Architecture and design on medium scale applications (UI design, application level design, backend design) for Desktop · Fluent in communication to understand and clarify moderately complex instructions. Ability to interact directly with the client and their business partners. Very good in facilitating Meetings, note taking and presenting. · Team work and ability to work with Onsite-Offshore model and work with minimal supervision. Ability to Guide, review work and provide feedback to other engineers · Ability to adopt to client’s development guidelines, best practices and processes · Experience on Agile application development methodology *Nice to Have Skills:* · .NET (C#) Desktop application development with .net framework 4.0 or above · Work experience with Clear Case or any other source control systems · Web application development experience (HTML, Flex) · Experience on Java Swing application development Thanks for your time Consideration..
