[MCN-L] MAAM Annual Meeting 2018: Call for session proposals extended!

2018-04-12 Thread Averie Shaughnessy-Comfort
You now have until May 1st to submit your session proposal to MAAM.

*CALL FOR PAPERS DEADLINE EXTENDED TO MAY 1*
--
Didn't get your session proposal submitted yet? Not to worry, we understand
that deadlines can come up more quickly than anticipated. You now have
until 5pm EST on Tuesday, May 1st to submit your session.

We are divided as a nation–politically, socially, culturally. But museums
are one place where Americans can come together–to learn, to think, to
enjoy, to see ourselves reflected, to understand others who are different,
and to heal. Museums have a significant role to play in igniting dialogue
and change in our communities through dynamic programs, collections,
and exhibitions–the sky is the limit.

Whether you are an emerging professional or a seasoned veteran, the MAAM
Conference is the place to find the most up-to-date information to make
your museum thrive. Join us in Baltimore, Charm City, the place for fun,
food and great museums– for the 2018 Annual Conference. Our sessions will
spark your creativity and offer practical solutions and workable models
for making museums really matter in their communities.

Envision change, implement new ideas, take action, and secure funding.
*Museums matter now!*
