All,

We are renaming a Photo Services department here. Please reply with
both department names as well as manager titles that you may have

Title: RE: bi-lingual web sites

Anne et al,

Ditto for the National Gallery of Canada - our web site (http://national.gallery.ca) with integral learning centre (CyberMuse),as well as significant resources searchable on the web site such as the catalogue of the Library of the Gallery (largest fine arts library in Canada), have bilingual English and French interfaces , as does our version of our inhouse collection management system MultiMimsy (Willoughby Associates, Chicago)...

Any one of the National Museums of Canada web sites is fullly bilingual (french/english) by federal law. You can visit our site at www.nature.ca and contact our Webmaster at abot...@mus-nature.ca.

Hello,
Anyone out there have experience building a bi-lingual web site? Or can get
me in contact with a museum staff person who does? I want to produce a
Spanish English exhibition feature for the fall, and have not done anything
like this before.

I am interested in software/hardware requirements, but most importantly,
finding out the production hurdles (if any) involved in building a
bi-lingual museum site.

Thank you!
