Kia ora koutou (greetings)

The call for presentations for the National Digital Forum Conference (18-20
November 2019, Museum of New Zealand Te Papa Tongarewa, Wellington, NZ) is open!

We want to hear from people working in, and with, digital on any topic
affecting the culture and heritage sector. Think big picture – does your
digital practice inform, influence or touch the GLAM sector? Then let us know!
The timid ideas and the bold, the everyday and the unusual – the community that
supports NDF is evolving and we’d like to reflect that evolution in the kinds
of presentations we have at the conference.

We’d also like to make sure that the content at the conference is as fresh as
possible, so don’t worry if you have an idea that’s half-formed, or a project
that’s not yet completed – if it’s digital and it’s GLAM, we’d love to hear
from you.

NDF is committed to honouring Te Tiriti o Waitangi, and we welcome all
perspectives that explore what this means in relation to digital work in the
GLAM sector and beyond.

If you need help getting your synapses sparking, take a look our 2018 programme
(https://ndf2018.sched.com/) and the past talks on YouTube
(https://www.youtube.com/user/NDFNZ/playlists). Previous years have included
topics such as online collection building, participatory archive development,
inclusive practice, evaluation, preserving our digital lives and developing
resources for learning in a digital age.

We will also be running pre-conference workshops on Monday 18 November. Please
get in touch if you have an idea for those.
