Koneksi diputus oleh sender karena merasa tidak mendpat response dari

Dengan perkataan lain, koneksi time out.

Tidak.
Refresh install hanya akan mengupdate file-file yang hilang atau sengaja 
dihapus.

Yang penting adalah lakukan ubahan setting di antivirus for file untuk exclude 
folder \\mdaemon dari scanning dan trusted MDaemon application agar hasil 
refresh install sesuai harapan.

Periksa ke smtp-out log atau screening log, sumbernya bisa di check di 
smtp-in log (kalau diduga sebenarnya yang kirim mail spammer/hijacker).
