Re: [MBZ] Slow weekend
I got the Ranger to drag ass hauling wood yesterday, a friend is building a house and told me to take all I can haul. Yesterday 7 pieces of wood had the ass end of the truck about on the pavement. Then I put safety chains on the snowmobile trailer and gave it a coat of paint. Mowed the lawn with my 46 year old lawnmower which started on the 3rd pull after its long winter's rest. Having a fuel shutoff proved to be a good idea on that. Also built a new potato box and planted some butterfly mix flowers my wife had. After dinner I split 1/2 cord of wood with my hand operated mechanical wood splitter. My wife brought me out a coat its cold she says, I was pouring sweat... Today theres bread dough in the bread machine and then a birthday party to go to and not much else! -Curt Date: Sat, 7 May 2011 10:56:36 -0500 From: Dieselhead 126die...@gmail.com To: Mercedes Discussion List mercedes@okiebenz.com Subject: [MBZ] Slow weekend Message-ID: a0624080dc9eb1b9ba355@[192.168.1.51] Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii ; format=flowed Everybody must be working on yards/gardens or cars. Annual Master Gardener's Plant sale -- all day Friday setting up and then FINALLY mowing grass (it's more than a foot tall, even where I managed to mow some of it before my vacation), then all day Sat selling tomatoes. In bed by 8:30 Got another stint at the sale today 10 - 1 pm, then off to the funeral home, mow grass, check the bees, and then Mother's day dinner. From another forum: Bumper Cover Trim Color Does anyone know the color code of the lt. gray bumper trim and molding on white Benz's or have a suggestion for over the counter paint close match? I cannot seem to find a matching paint at the auto parts and hardware stores I go to. I think the later cars were all white. Thanks. Andrew, I called a local nursery and talked to the owner, who has a radio show here on Sat morn. He agrees with Rich. Small 2-4 inch tender shoot dip in Rooting Powder plant in Sterile Potting Soil. Keep Moist NOT Soaking wet. Should see roots in 3 to 4 weeks. Keep soil above 72° . You'll likely have a greater success rate if you rubber band a baggie over the the top of the pot also, to retain the humidity.
