Re: [MBZ] testing
I'm back in bidness, sorta. My main hard drive in my PC crashed the other morning, I got the machine resurrected more or less by re-installing WinXP on another drive I had in the box. I tried to do a backup and discovered that the full backup of the failed HD was not to be found on another HD -- I had done a backup just a couple days before when the HD started making Unhappy Noises. WinXP does not see any files on that HD but Acronis (my backup program) will see files on it, though not the backup file I did with it just a couple days before. h. I had also done a copy of my email files over to another HD, so had that fairly new. Anyway, got my backed files transferred over to an iMac, will see how this works out. At first it did not work, but then I found a simple process and got it going. Now to keep fooling with the PC to see if I can recover everything. ugh. --R On 6/6/11 9:01 AM, Rich Thomas wrote: Success Fail --R ___ http://www.okiebenz.com For new and used parts go to www.okiebenz.com To search list archives http://www.okiebenz.com/archive/ To Unsubscribe or change delivery options go to: http://mail.okiebenz.com/mailman/listinfo/mercedes_okiebenz.com ___ http://www.okiebenz.com For new and used parts go to www.okiebenz.com To search list archives http://www.okiebenz.com/archive/ To Unsubscribe or change delivery options go to: http://mail.okiebenz.com/mailman/listinfo/mercedes_okiebenz.com

I do recall I did it mostly in town. Also the RPM drop per gear is a percent, not a RPM. The 7, 9, 10, and 13 speed transmissions (for class 8 highway trucks with 10-14 L engines) all have about the same ratio in 1st and it the top gear. The size of the steps change. 15 and 18 speed transmissions typically add deeper low gears.
