Re: [MBZ] Mercedes/Cyberdyne Truck
Big difference with trains over trucks. The day when businesses had rail spurs to unload boxcars of goods vaporized over 50 years ago. If you have a chain store warehouse, your goods are delivered by thousands of trucks. Those trucks drive among the general population which we all know and love at rush hour, who are busy texting, doing their nails, or reading a book while commuting at 70+ MPH, and making really dangerous and stupid driving mistakes. While I applaud the engineers for their wonderful machine run by multiple computers and sensors... I also have a solid appreciation of the idiot savants issued driving license. The battle between a semi tractor/trailer with 80,000 lbs. of goods and the commuter smart car driver, is one nobody wins. Snappy idea.. practical application.. Mehahh... [MBZ] Another tire string?
Time for another tire string? Very young grandson is working in Raleigh and needs winter tires. Can some of you folks who live in that area suggest a brand, type, etc. that would be best for a 2011 Honda Pilot? Also, I remember from several winters back that nearly everyone agreed that a certain tire made in (Sweden?), (Finland?) or another Nordic country was the absolute best snow and ice tire. It was very unusual to see nearly everyone agree on a tire discussion. Yeah looks like mine, which I have had for a while and works pretty well, except that the hole in the 123 is too small by a bees whisker, if I had a lathe I would have been tempted to take a smidgen off the compressor to make it fit betterer.
