Re: [MBZ] fuel senders

2016-02-15 Thread Curly McLain via Mercedes

Thanks!

I have a bunch of parts to sell and this will help! For the sender,
I looked up 124, 126 and 210, and each is different. The picker
yard had a 126 sender, but I didn't have the 1 5/8" socket (I don't
know where it is now) and I could not get it to turn with 15"
channellocks and a screwdriver. Pretty much everything on that car
was overtightened, and glued in with some king of gray sealer. I did
snag a couple more door checks to work on.

n this case the EPC is a little overkill with having to have a VIN
and going back and forth. If you want to do a "where used" in the
EPC, use the one that MB of Atlanta has online:

http://www.mbpartsworld.com

If you have a part selected and are on the "Product Information"
page, down at the bottom is a header that says "Product
Fitment/Applications". Click on the "Show More" tab on the far
right of that header.

The list drops down and you can see what other models the part was used on.

This is a great tool that I've used in other manufacturing
environments. Just go to the application you know, find the part,
and do a "Where used" to see where else it might have been used.

That paltry price is just the current bid. The minimum bid has not yet
been reached.

Has big hole in the roof (window) to allow future water entry. Which
probably leaves Wilt out of the bidding.

All the furniture is handmade. Has shower, full size refrigerator 3 burner
stove, freshwater and sewage tank. Has electric stair extender and
hydraulic leveling supports, trailer hitch and lots of indirect lighting
with LEDs. No expense was spared in building this coach. Similarly
equipped vehicles sell in the high six figure price range.
If you bid and change your mind you have to pay 10% of the bid as damages
and in any case you have to pay and pick it up in 5 days from end of
auction.

That's the general description. Not much on the mechanical condition. Not
that I care since I haven't gotten my retirement check this month yet. Or
the ones for the next 100 or more years.

Just went to the money market rate for Euro/USD exchange rate..

1 Euro = 1.13 USD

So.. for the paltry "buy it now" price of $50.850.00 USD, it could be
yours..

Plus, transfer and shipping fees.. and a couple months delay to get it on
a

ship and delivered... Just in time for the summer vacation season...

Sorry, but my command of written German isn't good enough to gather
mechanical history and condition of the bus.. Perhaps someone here is
fluent.

It would be "the only one on the block" where ever you were.

Not sure if it helps, but I got one of the little rechargeable BT dongles for
the aux input on the W220. It worked fine, but would only last 3-4 days in
operation before needing a charge.

Not sure that it helps you, as it looks like you're going with a powered one.

Crude but effective.

Re: [MBZ] OT - Solar powered Pod (Ecocapsule)

2016-02-15 Thread Curt Raymond via Mercedes
https://www.ecocapsule.sk/#product-info
600w of solar and 750w of wind. It doesn't have very much power for the
electric cooker... A 2 burner electric hot plate looks to want 1800w, so to run
it for an hour you'd need 3 hours of peak efficiency sun. That wind generator
on its short pole isn't going to make peak power very often. I'd predict the
need for a little Honda generator running a couple hours every day to keep this
thing habitable.
Dad has decided to upgrade our 100w solar system to 200w this year, I'm
thinking I'll kick in and take us to 300w, I hate having power anxiety. On the
other side of the equation he had been ordering 35ah 12v batteries but found a
place local to him that sells a 110ah battery for only twice the price. So
we're going to go from 70ah of storage to 180ah, that should keep us from
having to run the generator most weeks even if we don't get more solar.

[MBZ] OT bluetooth with old stereo rcvr

2016-02-15 Thread Rich Thomas via Mercedes
I am trying to figure out how to best hook up a bluetooth receiver to an
old stereo receiver to use to drive some speakers on my back deck. I
have a nice new 5.1 receiver that does BT well, I stream radio stations
through an old ifone to it, but it does not have a second set of speaker
outputs so I'm going to pull out one of the old ones and modernize it,
figured I could get a BT adapter. Or maybe just connect it to the
monitor on the new one and repeat whatever that thing is playing,
basically just use it as a second amp?

I see a bunch that look like they plug into a mini-jack input, primarily
maybe for car stereos. They are battery powered or need external power,
so I guess I could get a mini-plug to BNC adapter cable for the sound
and plug in the power adapter to yet another power point and that would
work to power it up. They are pretty cheap, less than $20 -30. This
one looks pretty good, maybe more for home use, I might give it a go.

Re: [MBZ] Left Wing Assassins

2016-02-15 Thread Curly McLain via Mercedes

He died in his sleep, according to the lamestream media.

the goobers always have a cover story. Like ben gazi was caused by
a video. Then the SOS looks at the families and lies to them. Just
another day.

"Natural causes"
"no autopsy"
"Family requested"

All lies

When my neighbor died from an unknown cause, the cops swarmed the
place. The locals did an autopsy, the state did an autopsy, they
sent samples to the feds. Months later they were still working on it.

When my daughter's friend was burned by a flaming toada it took 6
weeks of "investigation" before the state would identify her and
release the remains.

Here we have the cover lies out almost immediately. That is because
they had the cover story planned in advance.

The trip to TX provided an opportunity to execute the plan. (and the guy)
