I am thinking that all carbs are not equal. So maybe if you have more carbs of
something that does not contain as much sugar might be somewhat ok?

Last night when I ate dinner I was not really that hungry. If you cut your
portions way down it seems you adjust to the lower amount of food and will be
hungry and first but after you get used it, you are not hungry anymore. Cutting
carbs also leads to you not being hungry all the time also, or so I read.

I am basically just focused on cutting sweats and high carb starch food. I
would love to have some potatoes but so far not eating them. Just doing that
will cut the carbs way down. No bread items either.

Today I had a taco salad with no beans and did not eat the shell and had 2 eggs
and bacon for a meeting this morning st IHOP and only at 11 carbs for the day
out of the 103 I have allowed myself. I have this app set for 103 carbs which
you put in how much per week you want to lose then set what sort of carb/fat
ratio you want and it give you a daily number to hit. The most carbs I have had
since starting this was 49 one day. Most days I have been just slightly over
20. Surely on this plan I will loose weight.

That's not really "use of a torque wrench". If that technique was
tried anyplace but a tire shop it would be condemned!

Use the impact wrench set to it's lowest setting to spin the nuts
until they touch the rim. Use the torque wrench to torque them.

I guess expecting a tire shop to correctly use their tools is too
optimistic...

As I understand, the torque limiting extension sockets really
work. My issue is I grease the lugs, so the dry torque spec. is
way too much. In general, I do all the tire work myself.

2017-10-18 Thread Randy Bennell via Mercedes

Factory specs for torque on the lugnuts on my truck is 150#.
I have started to carry a socket and a long breaker bar as I doubt I
could get a wheel off using the wrench that came with the truck.

I've found that the use of torque wrenches is over blown. If you rattlegun the

I once had to take my car back to a tire retailer because I couldn't get the
lugs off no matter what.

Which reminds me, at camp last week I sharpened the blades on the bush hog. This is a 6
foot brush mower. The blades are held on by 1 1/8" carriage bolts. To get them off I
use my 3/4" ratchet with a 5 foot cheater bar... Takes a lot of force...

What I like is when they use a rattle gun with a torque limiting extension on
it, then check it with a clicker. If it clicks without turning the lug, they
think it's spot on. If I had a tire shop, every rattle gun would have a 60lb
limiting extension brazed onto it.

Re: [MBZ] Now Fruits - was BAT crack prediction

2017-10-18 Thread Dan Penoff via Mercedes
I just try to base it on plate real estate. I use half of what I was
previously. I may still be eating too much at this point, but I’m eating less,
so that’s a start. I have trained myself to skip meals or change my eating
habits in the past without a lot of difficulty, so I’m sure I’ll be successful
with this. I can go from wake up to supper with nothing more than water and a
yogurt, at least until I discovered how many carbs there are in nonfat yogurt!

Hence the desire to find some healthier alternatives.

The perps:  Lasupta Singletary, 18, and Jernalen Dreshaw Coleman, 17

Coleman was sentenced to one year of probation in February for carrying
a concealed firearm, according to state records. Singletary of
Zephyrhills was arrested in April on charges of armed burglary, larceny
and grand theft auto and for similar charges a month later. The status
of those cases is unclear.

It doesn't appear either teen legally owned the guns in Monday's
incident, Gandy said.

http://www.tampabay.com/news/publicsafety/crime/police-woman-shoots-kills-teen-who-tried-to-carjack-her-in-clearwater/2341342

Perhaps if Florida had more stringent gun laws the teens would not have
had the guns?  Or if there were more stringent restrictions on concealed
carry, Jernalen would not have been carrying?  Or not carrying after
being convicted of carrying? Clearly more laws would have prevented
Jernalen from his miscreancy.  Lasupta might not have yet been
convicted, so I guess it would be OK for him to have a weapon, even at
the age of 18. But if there were more stringent laws against armed
burglary, larceny, and grand theft auto this might not have happened either.

to find ones that are ripe. I don’t understand why people eat the ones with
the green stems, as they taste awful. If the stems aren’t brown, they’re not
typically ripe.

I’ve got a really good farmer’s market in town that’s open 7 days a week
starting at 4:30 am. They have every imaginable fruit and vegetable on hand.
I’m going there tomorrow at lunch, I think.

Re: [MBZ] Tars Wuz: Polishing Glass

2017-10-18 Thread Curt Raymond via Mercedes
I've found that the use of torque wrenches is over blown. If you rattlegun the
lugnut down to 150#, the torque wrench will click over at 80# no problem.
I once had to take my car back to a tire retailer because I couldn't get the
lugs off no matter what.

Which reminds me, at camp last week I sharpened the blades on the bush hog.
This is a 6 foot brush mower. The blades are held on by 1 1/8" carriage bolts.
To get them off I use my 3/4" ratchet with a 5 foot cheater bar... Takes a lot
of force...

I had a flat on Monday morning.

Drove out of the garage, turned on to the street, noticed that the car
seemed to be pulling to the let a bit. Pulled over, stopped, got out
and took a look. Left front tire was flat as a board. I had driven
close to a block on it, so I’m sure I probably trashed it. Tires that
were on the car were expensive Michelins that had date codes from
about 6-7 years ago, and were starting to dry rot on the edges as
Michelins seem to be prone to doing in this climate. Too bad, as they
had a decent amount of tread left on them. The spare was the same set
and brand new. Still had the stickers on the tread.

Checked my Tires Plus guys for deals, nothing going there. I have been
using Falkens on my cars of late and been quite pleased with the value
to wear ratio, so I figured I would go that route. On a whim I looked
at Costco. WOW! They had a Michelin deal going with $70 off a set of
four tires and $0.01/tire installation. It ended that day, so I went
there on the way home and bought a set of Michelin MXs for $501.00 out
the door installed.

I would have spent near that for the Falkens, so I figured I would go
for the Michelins.

to be pulling to the let a bit. Pulled over, stopped, got out and took a look.
Left front tire was flat as a board. I had driven close to a block on it, so
I’m sure I probably trashed it. Tires that were on the car were expensive
Michelins that had date codes from about 6-7 years ago, and were starting to
dry rot on the edges as Michelins seem to be prone to doing in this climate.
Too bad, as they had a decent amount of tread left on them. The spare was the
same set and brand new. Still had the stickers on the tread.

Checked my Tires Plus guys for deals, nothing going there. I have been using
Falkens on my cars of late and been quite pleased with the value to wear
ratio, so I figured I would go that route. On a whim I looked at Costco. WOW!
They had a Michelin deal going with $70 off a set of four tires and $0.01/tire
installation. It ended that day, so I went there on the way home and bought a
set of Michelin MXs for $501.00 out the door installed.

I would have spent near that for the Falkens, so I figured I would go for the
Michelins.

the respondent to the ad is an agent of the domain owner and the scam would

So, what records does the scammer want, and what's the scam?
Do they somehow gain title to your car without payment?

were a few tight spots that wouldn't fit my HF drill, and I feared
stripping out plastic threads with the crude HF drill trigger, thus my
