[MBZ] Comfort control module

Being the standard PnP idiot, I saw something and figured “well, that looks 
important, I wonder what it does?  I should take it home with me”  Turned out 
that part 124 820 32 26 is a Comfort Control Module.  What is that and why?  
All I could find was the name, not the function.  It had five plug in parts 
that must make something control. 

But WHAT?

I sent him the .dll and goolag bounced it as a security risk. 
Just now, I sent it renamed as a .jpg and it didn't immediately come back to me.

[MBZ] SPAM OT Win XP file called ADVAPI32.dll

anyone have a copy of this file you could send to me?  I'm trying to 
install some laser controller software on my old WINXP box I use now to 
run it, it loaded OK but when I try to run it I get a RGetValueW error 
that seems to be associated with this file.  I want to try to replace it 
and see if that cures the problem

So basically it’s junk where it sits. I’m thinking for $300 I could get a spare 
tranny for the 99, and have a bunch of other parts too. But maybe it’s not that 
bad, at least if it runs I can see if the tranny is ok and whatever else might 
be wrong with it. I can take a battery and see what it does. Sent the guy a 
response asking where and when.

I think you are right that the selling price is low.
I would suggest that the seller should have done a bit more work on it
before listing it.
Things like noting that the muffler was attached with a zip tie do not
suggest that it received the sort of care that one would want. The
exhaust hanger rubber doodads are not expensive or difficult to install.
I also think the it should have had a radio in the hole even if it was a
new after market one.
I also note that the LF fender appears to have been repainted and not
match well. It likely would have been worthwhile to have it painted
again with matching paint. At the same time, the underside of the hood
could have been painted if a new hood pad was not to be installed.
Finally, the AC should have been made workable since the car is in
California. One would expect that they would want it working so why have
they let it go?
My guess is that small details make a difference on BAT and the owner of
this one did not care much and just wanted the car gone.
Most of the car appeared to be in good condition and it sold for a lot
less than some recent examples have.

After the desert festival you could put it in a storage yard until the rusty 
car festival near Frisco. Any vehicle that is still driveable can be entered,
