Where does all this animosity toward CA come from? I mean I live here, and
there is plenty of crazy stuff going on, but I don't obsess about what is
going on in other states.

For some reason people seem to enjoy slagging on California, even when they
dont pay any taxes here. That seems weird to me.

We are a federation of states. If 37 million people in a given state want
to live a certain way or mismanage their finances or motor vehicle laws for
whatever reason, it is their constitutional right to do so. Or at least I
thought that was what this country was about.

Yes, I believe that is a good example! Those Red Bull racers were built a

Buy the headlight assembly and toss the extras on the shelf in case you need 
them later. The fog lamp is $266 from the dealer new, and aftermarket not much 
cheaper.

Depends on how close to the water the car lived to worry about the extent of 
tin worm.  The sheet metal for that era is prone to rust in the damp and moist 
air.  I saw most of the PnP examples hosted extensive rust
