I would add that I love my 2008 ML550 and consider it one of my favorite MBs 
out of all I’ve owned over the years. If there was a negative it would be fuel 
consumption. It’s not a good choice for running errands, but it does well on 
the interstate.

Has tow package, looks pretty nice except for the left front fender, though 
that damage could be fixed with some hammer and dolly work.

I'd be tempted to check this out since it's closer than most ads that I see, 
but I don't need another SUV, and considering gas prices, would prefer 
something less thirsty.

Yes, exterior panel rust on a W210, once it starts, is almost spectacular in 
the speed i which it envelops the whole car.
