These are built on the 164 platform (ML, GL) but have a different chassis  
designation (W251) and are basically the same mechanically in a 4matic version. 
Airmatic suspension too. 

They are interesting vehicles, lots of room but not a “big” tall SUV profile. I 
kinda like them. I like the styling, not quite a meenievayan and more than a 
wagon. Sit lower like a car. 

I can’t tell if this one has a hitch or not but they can tow like 5k lb if I 
recall. The diesel has lots of torks so will move out quickly. 

Oil cooler is an issue on these and it’s buried down in the V so would be worth 
checking a VMI or carfax to see if it’s been done. 

This could be a good deal if it’s in good shape and no issues and if the oil 
cooler has been done, although maybe a tad high for the miles.

Every coil is showing a "circuit open" code, and you just replaced all of them? 
Sounds like it somehow detected the disconnect of each coil as it was replaced.

[MBZ] 2011 Mercedes Benz C300 4Matic - Multiple Coil Pack Codes After Replacement! Help!

Hi All,
      I replaced all the coil packs and spark plugs (Genuine Mercedes) on my 
daughter's 2011 Mercedes Benz C300.  The initial reason which prompted the 
change were Codes P0300, P0305 & P0306 indicating cylinder misfires.   The car 
had 110K so it was overdue plugs so at the same time I decided to change coil 
packs too.
The car ran great with no issues or codes for over 200 miles.  She noticed the 
check engine light came on last night so I ran the codes and there following 
coil pack codes now:

P0352 Ignition Coil "B" Primary Control Circuit/Open

P0355 Ignition Coil "E" Primary Control Circuit/Open

P0351 Ignition Coil "A" Primary Control Circuit/Open

P0354 Ignition Coil "D" Primary Control Circuit/Open

P0353 Ignition Coil "C" Primary Control Circuit/Open
P0356 Ignition Coil "F" Primary Control Circuit/Open
I reset the codes and the "Check Engine Light" went off but these codes still 
read on the scanner. 
Car still runs great so I am at a loss as to what is causing these codes.  I 
don't believe the coil packs could all be bad?  Spark plug related?  I checked 
and reinstalled wire harnesses too.
Why did it run great for 200 miles with no codes?
Any ideas?

But the car needs a motor installed I already got the motor and 
everything else . I’ll sell the motor with the car I’ve owned if for 1 
years and maybe 5-6 months . I don’t wanna get rid of but oh well ..
