Re: [MBZ] Gelaendewagen mit OM617
I repainted my G and had to replace both floor panels, door sills, and both taillight panels. I also painted the new and original floor panels with truck bed liner(did myself). I spent less about 6k. My split system does not do hot water, I have a tankless hot water heater and it has been very good. The hot water heater uses natural gas with electric ignition. I have a 2006 and it is a great car. Performance is very good, have mb Tex, like it too, mileage on highway is about 35 mpg (really) and have checked multiple times. Have changed alternator, brakes, tires, and oil. Oh yes, had to put new AC compressor on it too. Now has about 100k miles, runs great! No turbo problems. I have a 1996 and my understanding is the 1996 1997 are NA and the 1998-99 are turbodiesels. The badge is probably fake. I would probably not buy one where turbo had been added or aftermarket.
