[MBZ] G-05 coupons

2007-01-22 Thread Dan Holden
Pep Boys has been a reliable source of G-05. It was $11.99 at our local
store about a month ago. The Pep Boys website has a downloadable coupon for
$5 off any $25 purchase.

OK folks, the okieq is 2 weeks away now. If you have not RSVP'd yet now is
the time. If you need hotel info let me know so you can get your
reservations in. The main event will be an afternoon affair with exact time
to be announced. Probably will start around 2 probably. For those folks
who want to go to the gum museum etc, which is always a favorite, be here
early. For those interested contact me offlist and i will get things set
up. If anybody is in town friday night we will get together for some bbq or
something. Anyway, here is the list of attendees to date. If your name is
not on the list and you plan to come, let me know ASAP.

[MBZ] FW: Spare Fuel Tank

2005-11-01 Thread Dan Holden

I'm not sure how big they were. I'd sure like to find one, however.

There is one on ebay:

[MBZ] Weight of Bio/ Aux Fuel Tank

2005-11-01 Thread Dan Holden
Bob wrote: So...what does a gallon of bio weigh? If I slapped a correct
aluminum aux tank in my trunk and filled it (26 gal) of bio, what would the
weight be? Would I be all saggy in the rear (the car you clowns).

At 6 pounds per gallon it would weigh about the same as an adult size
passenger in the back seat. Does your car sag when somebody sits in the
back seat? If you fill both fuel tanks and put five big adults in the car
it will droop. If you have one or two people up front and both tanks topped
you should not notice any appreciable change.
