Last fuel purchase was 01/26 @$3.2597 per gallon on the daily driver '85 300D. At my routine 14 miles per day and accumulated 468 miles on the odometer, I figured I'd beat the little reserve warning light and fill today.
Price at the pump was $3.699. $0.44 up in a month? When did that happen? I decided to digest that and wait until this evening to fill. I stopped at a station closer into town, expecting perhaps a higher price since it was at a main exit to I-40. Fuel was $3.459 per gallon, $0.24 cheaper. (My Pall Mall non-filters were $4.79 instead of $3.38 so any fuel savings were lost in the convenience of buying cigs at that stop.)
