That's it - I'm out.

Bigtime DC lawyer had a similar car in S class. The dash comprised about
1/2 of a 90 year old walnut (?) tree. Considering how ordinary the
exterior looked the impact of that wood was enough to blow your mind.

Edgewood is where we shop for groceries and where our local Wal-Mart is.

If anyone wants me to look at it, it's 10 - 20 miles from me.

What kind of engine is that?

I do recall our '72 220D/8 with an OM615 had the injection pump on the
driver's side of the engine.

I don't recall what our '64 190Dc had for an engine, nor specifically
which side of the engine the injection pump was on, but I do recall
replacing a gasket on the lift pump in my parents' garage in Eugene, OR,
and that was on the driver's side, implying the injection pump was there
as well.

This car's engine appears to have the injection pump on the passenger's
side with the lines going over to the driver's side. And what are those
things on the side of the head above where the exhaust manifold connects?

Very strange!

My 36HP VW would maintain 70 mph as long as the head wind wasn't too strong
nor the hills too steep. That Diesel will have much more torque as well. I
think it will easily do 75mph.

At least the first one is. I wonder how old that picture is, and what the car
really looks like today?

That’s a major, major pet peeve for me. People who use pictures that are years
old for a current advertisement. I once considered a W110 in CT (thanks, Dwight
and friends!) that had photos in the ad that were between two and three years
old. The car barely resembled them, if I recall correctly.
