[Buggered Benzmail via Mercedes]

1987 Mercedes-Benz 300SDL 

The car is currently a dependable daily driver. As is common with these cars, 
the
odometer is broken and the true mileage is unknown. Cosmetically the car is in 
decent shape
and the pictures are an accurate representation of the cars current condition. 
Front passenger window, vacuum door locks and AC currently do not work. 

Text, call, or email with and additional questions. No tire kickers and I do 
not need help selling this vehicle.

I disagree.  That price isn’t outrageous considering the mileage.  Granted, 
it’s got the 014 head, but that aside, it’s a nice car with low miles and it’s 
been in an environment that didn’t trash the body.  I would say a realistic 
price would be more like $6000-$6500.

There was a 1991 on BW recently that was listing for $7900 that was in similar 
condition with good provenance and I am pretty sure the seller got his price.

The W126 sedans with the OM603 are starting to increase in value.  $5k for a 
nice one isn’t unrealistic any more.  A number 2 car is valued at around $6200 
these days.

I’m never letting go of my 350SDL.

That's a very steep price!  It may be worth it, but it would need to be
nearly showroom, and I can see two flaws in the couple of poor pix.  First
pic, a lug bolt on the front left wheel is either missing entirely or (more
likely) missing the steel cover from the end of the bolt.  In the interior
pic, the armrest looks like it has a cut in the leather covering.

Low miles may or may not be good, condition is really the issue.  If all
that suspension rubber is original, it's all dead and needs to be
replaced.  I would want to see far more pictures of much better quality,
and extensive documentation that all the repairs were done correctly with
MB dealership parts by a qualified shop / mechanic.

The only real flaw with that engine is the #14 head, which is prone to
cracking.  That may be a bargaining point to get the price more reasonable.

I'll bet you could flip that on BAT and clear a few thousand, which such
low mileage, if the maintenance and repair history is well documented and
there is no rust.
