It would be nice as a replacement for the BRV, but I would have to change the pintle hook to a 2" receiver to be able to tow my utility trailer. AFAIK 1980s MBZ 240Ds were 4 cyl, and BMW 2.4 diesels were 6 cyl. I believe there were 300GDs with OM617 turbos in them.
