Re: [MBZ] AM/FM antennas
The horizontal legs on the T antennas that came with stereo receivers were around 30-31 inches long as best as I can remember, but maybe I'm off a few inches. A quick web search tells me they should be 28.65" when wire end effects are included in the calculation. A simple chunk of twinlead wire, separated for the last 28.7", should do just fine. Or you can just buy one: https://www.amazon.com/gp/offer-listing/B01IFO16RS/ref=olp_twister_all?ie=UTF8_item_package_quantity=all > On December 23, 2016 at 8:13 AM Curley McLain via Mercedes >wrote: > > > I have my auntieQ Pioneer SX-2500 fired up. [MBZ] AM/FM antennas
I have my auntieQ Pioneer SX-2500 fired up. It obviously needs external antennas. If my memory is correct, for AM, all that is needed is a single strand wire. That would be simple enough. Back in the day, the Pioneer receivers were shipped with a T shaped FM antenna that was about 10' tall and about 6' wide made of flat 2 wire tv antenna wire.Is flat wire still available or is there a place to buy those FM antennas? Is there a simple way to build your own FM antenna? Is the T design necessary? ___ http://www.okiebenz.com To search list archives http://www.okiebenz.com/archive/ To Unsubscribe or change delivery options go to: http://mail.okiebenz.com/mailman/listinfo/mercedes_okiebenz.com

Liberal / Progressive talk radio has been tried a number of times.. It has failed each time. Apparently the 4 D Rule... Deceive, Deny, Delay, Deflect does not sell well in any time slot with advertisers or listeners. But. What difference does it make You didn't build that On Sat, Oct 12, 2013 at 6:14 PM, Richard Hattaway rhatta...@rocketmail.comwrote: Nor in North Carolina..
