The center high mount stop lamp has an isolated (not shared by any other
lamp) feed from the exterior lamp failure monitor (I think it's N7) so
that would seem to be the likely problem.
I can't imagine why that stop lamp would blow as there is NO source of
power with a voltage higher than battery/alternator and that shouldn't
ever exceed 13.8-14V. That shouldn't blow the lamp in less than a
thousand or so hours.
