For free, you could just have it shipped to your neck of the woods.

Looks to me like an IHC Metro but there was a time in the '50s when there were
a ton of manufacturers putting out panel delivery trucks like that.
Stick and OM 617 in and it could be a really cool ride.

Jim,

Thanks for the information. I will tie a test light to the fuel pump and one
to the negative side of coil and test it. If it all looks OK I will add a
Fuel pressure gauge to the mix...

Does anyone else have a suggestion as to the culprit? Do I remember
correctly in that the fuel pump relay is known for bad solder joints?

I don't think it's a particular problem, but it can happen.
First I'd pull it and clean its contacts. It would be fairly
easy to tap that signal with a wire to a meter so you could see
if it was cutting out. Also, an ignition problem might not
affect the tachometer given that there's a fair bit of circuitry
betwixt tach signal and spark.

I didn't see pictures of the vehicle in question but I had a 1961
International Metro. We used it to haul our Formula Vees to the
various tracks we raced at in the Northeast. We called our team Team
Penniless.
