Nay my friend the early Miata is a British sports car you can drive without having to stop and pick the electrons off the road to keep it running. I will admit I never drove one with the top up but I don't remember having the top of the windshield getting into my line of sight. I think the later ones harmed the look, they got a little bigger and lost the pop up headlights.
