That is cool. That would be fun.
as a voracious reader in elementary school, I would read anything that had to
do with Alaska or the tundra or trappers, or Bush pilots because that
fascinated me. my desire to become a bush pilot was why I started taking flying
lessons at the age of 15.
My buddy Ted and I wondered, at the age of 13 I think we were, if it would be
possible to ride snowmobiles from Fargo (where his grandparents lived) to Point
Barrow. By the time we were approaching driving age, we had decided we would
save our money and buy a C10 Blazer and drive the Alaska highway.
Oh the dreams of youngsters.
