Fly  drive.

That's exactly what I'm doing this weekend to retrieve my 300 
2.5L. One way ticket BOS-RDU was $150, and the trip back should be 
exactly one tankful. I'll stop at my parents house in NY after 550 
miles of driving, then head to Boston on Sunday.

I can't wait to meet my car and hit the road Saturday morning!

[MBZ] Car Transport

fly there drive back.  I plan on doing this from southwest to PA on a 240D. 
Cost to ship runs 900-1500 smakers depending.  With all due respect avoiding 
the head aches you get dealing with some car transport folks.


flight out $150 one way.  Fuel back $250, Hotels non for me drive straight 
through.  Rental car to Pittsburgh airport one way $75

The thrill of driving a 240D w cross country in fall  PRICELESS
